About us

Each year, many students in Kansas with intellectual and developmental disabilities graduate from high school without access to critical services since the waitlist in Kansas is nine years long. Getting on the waitlist for the Home and Community Based Services as soon as possible can reduce or eliminate the gap in IDD services after graduation. The Johnson County CDDO is kicking off a countywide campaign to close the gap so young adults with IDD will be ready to live their best lives after graduation.
